Van maandag 22 tot en met vrijdag 26 augustus organiseert mentormentor voor de zevende keer een vijfdaagse masterclass.

Deze keer is de fel geprezen Mashid Mohadjerin te gast.

From Monday 22 to Friday 26 August, mentormentor will organise for the seventh time a five-day masterclass. This time, the esteemed Mashid Mohadjerin will be our guest.


5-DAAGSE MASTERCLASS MASHID MOHADJERIN

22 - 26 AUG 2022, BLANCO GENT

Verdiep je vijf volle dagen in je eigen werk en deel je ervaringen met andere fotografen.
Je onderzoekt verschillende verhaallijnen, perspectieven en mogelijkheden om jouw persoonlijk verhaal te vertellen op een manier dat het ook anderen aanspreekt of raakt. Mashid Mohadjerin en mentormentor ondersteunen je in dit proces. Deelnemers aan vorige zomeredities bevestigen: een masterclass gaf hen en hun werk een flinke boost.

Mashid Mohadjerin (1976, Teheran, Iran) is een Iraans-Belgische fotograaf en beeldend kunstenaar. Aan de grondslag van haar artistieke praktijk ligt een sterk sociaal activisme, dat ze in een subtiele vervlechting van woord en beeld tastbaar maakt. Ze is gefascineerd door de mens in transitie, ontdaan van wortels en thuis, en brengt dit in verstilde beelden.

Nog tot en met zondag 5 juni kan je je kandidaat stellen. Betalen kan in schijven en er is korting voor zelfstandigen, studenten en recent afgestudeerde fotografen.

5-DAY MASTERCLASS MASHID MOHADJERIN

For five full days, immerse yourself in your own work and share your experiences with other photographers. You will explore different storylines, perspectives and possibilities to tell your personal story in a way that it also appeals to and touches others. Mashid Mohadjerin and mentormentor will support you in this process. Participants of previous summer editions confirm: a masterclass gave them and their work a big boost. 

Mashid Mohadjerin (1976, Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian-Belgian photographer and visual artist. Her artistic practice has a foundation in strong social activism, which she makes tangible in a subtle interwovenness of word and image. She is fascinated by people in transition, stripped off their roots and homes, and expresses this in still images.

You can apply until Sunday, 5 June. Payment can be made in instalments and there is a discount for self-employed photographers, students and recently graduated photographers.
